Chained Dogs MKE Inc
A volunteer-run Milwaukee nonprofit helping chained and outdoor dogs get off the chain and into homes.
Milwaukee, WIWhat they do
Chained Dogs MKE is a Milwaukee nonprofit, run entirely by volunteers, that works to bring chained and outdoor dogs off the chain and into their homes. When a report comes in, volunteers visit, check on the dog and talk with the owner, offering help instead of judgment. They also drop off food and supplies to families in underserved neighborhoods, add straw, sturdy dog houses and safer tie-outs, and manage community cat colonies through trap-neuter-return. Donations go directly to the animals.
