Mumbies Root Chews are the first of their kind. Made from the root of the non-toxic coffee tree, these provide a tougher chewing experience for pups of all sizes. The wood is denser than our popular chewing sticks, breaks down slowly, and each is uniquely shaped which dogs love! They are highly resistant to cracking and splintering which allows your dog to feed that desire to chew.
Mumbies Chews are made from 100% natural coffee wood trees sourced from independent farms in Vietnam. These products contain no caffeine, scents, or additives.
Only allow chewing under direct supervision. Not suitable for dogs under 6 months. Regularly inspect for signs of breaking, loose pieces, or wear and replace when necessary for your dog's safety. While it’s generally safe if small fibers of the wood pulp are inadvertently ingested, this product is NOT meant for internal consumption. Watch your dog closely and discourage them from swallowing any pieces of this chew. The dog’s saliva naturally softens the wood. If the ends get brittle from chewing, you can wet the chew between sessions to make it a little more gentle for your pal.

Mumbies is a Franklin, Wisconsin dog brand built around natural chews. Its Original and Root Chews are 100% coffee tree wood, which resists cracking and splintering and softens into fibers as dogs chew instead of breaking into sharp pieces. The line also includes coconut rope toys for tug and fetch, and Yummies Bison Liver treats for simple rewards. Mumbies began with one rescue dog, and rescues are still at the heart of the brand.

It starts with retired coffee trees
As coffee trees age and produce fewer beans, farmers replace them with new ones. We work directly with small, independent farms in Vietnam to repurpose this retired wood and give it a second life as a natural dog chew.

Reviewed on Aug 30, 2026 from VirginiaOur puppy loves these! We got her a stick and a root knot and she loves both. The stick we use for outdoors and she prefers it over the branches out there. Plus it is lasting forever and she’s a crazy chewer! She likes to chew AND play with the root knot. She will throw it around and use it like a soccer ball before she sits down and chews it. They’ve proven to be a very helpful tool in helping her relieve some of her energy and to self soothe. I’ll be buying again when we need to!

Reviewed on Aug 27, 2026 from North CarolinaIt’s a good concept and it seems like a nice dog chew but neither of my two dogs care anything about it or want to chew on it and neither does my neighbor’s dog so it didn’t really work for us.
