Coffee is one of the most widely traded commodity crops in the world. Since younger coffee trees produce the most beans, older trees are cut down and replanted as their bean production decreases. This natural part of the process provides a surplus of — drumroll, please — coffee wood.
The wood is absolutely ideal for creating safe, non-toxic, all-natural dog chews! We’ve partnered with small, independent coffee farmers in Vietnam who both practice ethical and sustainable production to bring Mumbies chews to you.
These are a pretty penny and expected for them to hold up a little better than what they actually did. Our 9 month old black lab destroyed both of them in less than 10 minutes (on different days).
My dogs loved ripping this apart! I was worried about them swallowing the fibers, but they spit them out.

Two things I love: 1. My little girl often has trouble grabbing ahold of and hanging onto a ball. These coconut balls are so easy for her to grab and run with! 2. When she shreds it, and she always shreds balls, I don't have to worry about recovering toxic plastic or rubber or taking the ball away from her. This is a win-win for me and her!

Our golden retriever puppy loves this ball. It’s very durable to his chewing and constant play.
My dog loves this!! He's been tearing it up and loves playing fetch with himself. He does sometimes eat the smaller chunks of the coconut fibers, but he's been fine as they are typically smaller threads.
Strong recommend if your dog is a playful, chaotic teenager that LOVES shredding plushies. This holds up better and in my opinion is a safer option than most fabric toys.
I have a 1.5yr old Golden Retriever who loves to chew on just about anything outside. So far he has yet to destroy the coconut rope ball. I don’t feel bad if he tries to shred it to pieces knowing it’s not going to make a huge mess or hurt him. It’s a fan favorite, along with pretty much everything else. Wally weighs 60 pounds and we ordered him the XL 😊
My pups LOVE these! It’s a toy they stay interested in for long periods of play. It’s a rope toy and “fuzzy ball” at once! Like tennis ball fuzz they can eat! Only downside….its messy. Recommend play in a contained space or outdoors.
