Mumbies was born from a mission...

 ...to provide natural, safe products for dogs while giving back to the animal rescue community. The inspiration behind our brand is rooted in the story of an extraordinary rescue dog named Mumble, whose resilience and boundless joy have touched everyone he meets.

In his early days, Mumble (read his full story here) faced more hardship than any dog should. Found abandoned for the second time, severely underweight, and with a tail injury that required amputation, he still radiated a happy energy that was hard to ignore. Named after the lovable character from Happy Feet because of his signature “happy dance,” Mumble’s joyful spirit shone through his difficult past.

When Mumble came into our founder Bradley’s care, he joined another adopted dog, Selene—a gentle pitbull found chained to an abandoned house, who suffers from nystagmus, a condition affecting her balance. The two became fast friends, with Mumble even learning to walk beside Selene to help her steady herself. Witnessing this bond and Mumble’s unwavering joy despite his past left a lasting impact on Bradley.

Bradley’s love for dogs, and his awareness of the issues with many dog products on the market, led him to action. Seeing how natural, safe alternatives could improve their lives, he envisioned a brand that prioritized eco-friendly, non-toxic products that keep dogs healthy and engaged. With a heart for both his dogs and the wider rescue community, he wanted each purchase to have a meaningful impact, helping fund shelters and support animals in need.
