This was an excellent purchase. My dogs LOVED chewing on the root. It’s a different shape and texture than the sticks which adds variety to their chews.
Our pups love getting chews from Mumbies! They love them so much that sometimes they break them down faster than we would like. We are learning that shorter chew sessions are better for our guys so they can enjoy their Mumbies for more days.
This looks like a great chew, BUT my dog does not agree. He loves the original mumbies (he is five months old and we have gone through 3 of them), but I cannot get him interested in this one. I am going to keep trying, but no luck as yet.
Della will chew through anything. I tired natural rawhide but she would eat one in a day and get sick. I felt bad about all the plastic she was chewing from the Nyla bones. So far she is a fan of the root!

Our pup really likes these root chews, and no animal partner lost its life for our chews! They provide hours of chewing fun, and though we monitor chew time, I'm confident they aren't hazardous for our pup.
Our dog goes wild for Mumbies! As a super chewer, she usually rips through toys/chews in 10 minutes. This Large Root Chew is the only thing that will last her about a month. She has so much fun chewing it and of course -- Bringing it all over the house!
This is my second order of Mumbies chews. My dogs love these! They chew the heck out of them. I have the XL and L and the root chew. They don't splinter or come pocked with holes. They are smooth and smell fresh everytime. Highly recommend!

Love the root chew, all three of my pups prefer it to the XL chews. I think the XL’s are just too big however I wouldn’t have sized down due to my pups’ heavy chewer tendencies. The root chew has a more irregular, chewing surface, which I think the pups like.
Our Frenchies LOVE these. We've really struggled to find something we can give them that they don't absolutely obliterate within 10 minutes. We got the XL ones because that's the only size chewy we've had luck with across the board and regardless of brand or material. But these are such a game changer.
Dog loves but it chips off little root shavings constantly
Hi there! Thanks for sharing your feedback, and glad to hear he is a fan! A bit of chipping is totally normal — small pulp-like fibers wear off naturally as your pup chews and works into it. I recommend giving your dog a doggie blanket to chew on top of to help minimize mess!
I bought these on impulse but both of my dogs LOVE THEM. My golden (age 10) and corgi (age 7) don’t play with toys much any more but they are obsessed with these.
